Chile :)

I’ve always wanted visit Chile, yes, Chile… I know… I live here, but I know only Santiago, Caldera and Chillan, and Chile is very very long and it has a lot of tourist places and beautiful landscapes, Chile has all you can imagine!
You can visit a lot of climates in Chile, and different animals, birds, trees, plants, flowers, rivers, beaches, and a lot and diverse types of people with different traditions.

In special, I like visit the south of Chile, I don’t know so much about south of Chile because I only know Chillan, but I know it’s rainy and cold and I love the cold, the rain, the wind and the clouds. And I know it’s a rural place with a lot of vegetation and animals, and I prefer it than the city, the smog, the “transantiago”, and the noise. I love the nature, the silence, the tranquility of the countryside.

I like live there because is my favorite place to live, I’ve always wanted live in the south of Chile and have a house in a plot with animals in a farm xD I like live in a peaceful  place, without the stress, consumerism and hurry of the central city. But I like live near a town, I don`t want live like a solitary, in a peaceful place but not isolated, because I don’t want be psychologist of the cows, well…maybe xD    

Love in the snow

I like this picture to much, because it shows the “love of my life”…Juan Jose, my boyfriend :D This picture was taken by me in June 2011. I took it in Los Andes, when my family and me went out for a walk on the snow. I remember a lot that day because that was a beautiful and entertaining familiar day and I love the snow (it’s so funny!!!).

The picture shows my boyfriend and me, he is kissing me on my cheek; I like it because it is a very sweet kiss. And this picture is one of my favorite photos with my boyfriend, because that day we play whit the snow; we made a snowman, we threw snow balls (we made a snow war) and we slid on a surfboard.

I also like this photo because that day was the first time we visited the snow together. Well, I like our faces in love too xD because I thing it really captures our strong and sincere love :)   

A special family

“The Simpsons” is the best TV show for me; this animated series is about a family with the same name, this is composed of Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie and they represent a classic American family, well, a parody of this. I like The Simpsons because their histories are very funnies, I laugh very much with Homer, because he is so stupid and he does everything wrong but this is funny, and everything is normal at the end.

The Simpsons are different from other TV shows I have watched because they aren’t a typical happy family; they discuss everyday (but they do this amusingly), Homer is an irresponsible father, he sleeps in his work and he drinks a lot of beers, but he loves his family xD And Marge is addict to the cleaning and the games of chance. Burt is a devil but a stupid devil, Lisa is a little narcissistic genius and she loves the nature, and Maggie…well, she only sucks her pacifier and she not speaks.

The Simpsons make me feel identify with they, because my family do similar things xD I would like be Homer because a lot of entertaining things happen to him but always everything is right at the end. And, in spite of everything, I still think his character is the best and he is a good man, but a few crazy and stupid= funny to me!

Technology

I don’t like technology really, because I thing that the new technologies are very faulty, and these broke soon. In the past, the devices lasted for a long time, and the people not depended on the technology and they not spent a lot of money for these materials things. So, the people preferred the social relations, the real communication! Nowadays, the people prefer listen to music with their earphones or play with their new mobile phone (iphone really) in the transport.

So, if I have to name a technology… I like the projector; it’s a technology that projects things from your PC, like photos, sliders, videos, etc. I haven’t this but there is one in all classrooms in my University. Here, I use this when I have to show a presentation for my class, I introduce my pendrive in the PC and the projector shows the contents in the wall (the teachers use this all days!). I like it, because this technology permits to the teachers and students exhibit originals and interesting presentations.

In the past, the teachers only wrote on the blackboard, nowadays, they mix the two things. Mi life would not be different without it, because I didn’t start to use this for long time ago. I thing the projector isn’t indispensable… I can be happy without it xD but it is useful for the classes.

Nirvana

Cobain, Novoselic and Grohl

My favorite band is Nirvana; I like this music since four years ago…when I listened the song “smell like teen spirit” and I began to search about this band. So, I loved Kurt Cobain at the first time than I saw him (he was so cute) xD, then I downloaded the rest of the songs and discs, and finally, I read the book “heavier than heaven: a biography of Kurt Cobain”.

Nirvana is a band from Washington compound for Kurt Cobain, Krist Novoselic and Dave Grohl, they play grunge (alternative rock). I like Nirvana because grunge is so great, this music is really entertaining and the lyrics express a lot of originals criticism to the society. Other thing that I like is Kurt Cobain’s voice, it’s so strange, and I love it!!!

My favorite song is “Rape Me” it was fiercely criticized, but Cobain declared that this song is opposite to the rape. This song tells about poetic justice where the rapist is raped at the prison.

I discovered this information about Nirvana in the book that I read; also I knew details about the Kurt Cobain’s death. This topic is very controversial because Kurt Cobain committed suicide but some people say that Kurt Cobain was murdered… nobody will know the truth.

My life

She's Peca :D

I was born in 1992, in Santiago. I have two sisters and one brother, but I live only with my little sister Almendra and my parents because my other sister and my brother live with their own family. My sister Esperanza is married and she has a daughter called Martina (she is my only niece :) she’s so beautiful). I have three lovely dogs: Peca, Pelusa and Simon, a little turtle called Kurki (he's very wrinkled xD) and I have three chickens too, but they haven’t name because my father hope to get a delicious “cazuela” (it’s a topic Chilean food: soup with chicken) with they.

At present I live in Colina, this place is very far from University, I take two hours to arrive at the faculty. But I don’t always live here…when I was a little girl we lived in "La Granja", in this place I went to my elementary school “Claudio Matte”, then when I went to the high school “Santa Clara” (it’s a nuns’ school O: ) we moved to "La Cisterna", we lived three years in this place, and then we moved to Colina (I like this house cause is so great and beautiful) and here I met my boyfriend (he’s my neighbor 1313) .

So, in my free time I like to sleep xD but if I have to mention a hobby I could say that I enjoy make earrings, I have a lot of these. And I love meet with my boyfriend, he’s so nice and tender :D I love him <3 <3 <3
